## System requirements

Shopware 6.7 with Storefront, PHP 8.2 or newer. For AI generation you need your own API key with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or Mistral; billing happens directly there.
**Usable without AI:** blocks can be maintained entirely by hand. The AI part is a convenience, not a requirement.

## Installation

Upload the ZIP in the admin under Extensions, install and activate it. Then enter the licence key on the licence screen. The module is reachable through the Plugin Suite and additionally under Settings.

## Your first block in four steps

- Click "Create block" in the module

- Choose the area, then the position within it

- Enter the content or have the AI write it

- Save and activate

The block appears in the shop straight away. Clearing the cache is usually not necessary.

## Areas and positions

The 52 positions are grouped into areas. You pick the area first, then the position within it - that keeps the list manageable.

- **Head and scripts** - at the very top of the head, at the end of the head and right after the body starts; written into the page independently of the theme

- **Detail page** - around name, article number, price, tax, delivery information, variant selection, buy button, wishlist, gallery, reviews and cross-selling, plus four points around the description text

- **Category and search** - top and bottom of the category, in the listing, above the filter, top and bottom of the search results

- **Basket and checkout** - basket page, off-canvas basket, confirmation page before payment method and before submitting, address page, thank-you page

- **Account and wishlist** - customer account, registration, wishlist

- **Header and footer** - top and bottom of the header, top and bottom of the footer, below the copyright line

- **Content area** - two positions that apply on every page, at the very top and the very bottom

**On the content-area positions:** they suit notice bars that really should appear on every page. Because they apply everywhere, mistakes there show up everywhere too - when setting one up, narrow it down with a device selection or a time window first.

## Limit to page types

Besides sales channel, device and time window, a block can be limited to individual page types. Without a selection it still appears everywhere, otherwise only on the selected ones.

- Home page

- Category page

- Product detail page

- Search results

- Shop pages and layouts

- Cart

- Checkout and confirmation

- Customer account

- Wishlist

**How it combines with positions:** the page type applies on top of the position. A block in the content area limited to the home page therefore appears there only, even though the position itself would apply on every page.

## Content, CSS and JavaScript

Every block carries three fields: the content, its own CSS and optionally its own JavaScript. Everything hangs off the block - delete it and the extras go with it.
All three fields accept Twig expressions and Shopware variables. Available at every position are: the product (on the detail page), the context, the sales channel, the currency and the customer.
**Example:** `{{ product.name }}` in the content inserts the article name, `{{ context.currency.symbol }}` the currency symbol. That allows a notice that names the article being viewed.
The content is stored per language. A block can read differently in the German channel than in the English one, without maintaining two blocks.

## Letting the AI write the content

In the block window you describe in one sentence what the block should show. One button, and the AI delivers content, CSS and JavaScript together.
The instruction is stored on the block and shown again the next time you open it. That allows refining instead of rewriting from scratch every time.
**Images as a template:** up to four images can be attached - a draft, a screenshot of the look you want, or an example from another site. The AI rebuilds the block from them. **On the key:** provider, key and model live in the Settings tab, along with a connection test. The key is stored server side and never delivered to the browser.

## Who sees the block

**Sales channel:** a block applies to one channel or to all of them.**Articles:** four routes are available - all articles, a list of article numbers, a dynamic product group or selected categories. Article numbers can be pasted as a list. **Detail page only:** the article assignment takes effect where there is an article. In other areas - the header or the checkout, for instance - it is hidden, because it could not narrow anything down there.
**Device:** mobile, tablet, desktop or combinations, selectable per block.**Period:** a block can appear from one date and disappear on another. Without a setting it applies indefinitely.**Order:** when several blocks sit at the same position, the priority decides the sequence.

## Output mode

Normally the block is inserted at its position while the page is being built. That is the clean route and the default.
Some themes replace the same Twig blocks this plugin uses. The content would then never arrive. For that case a second output mode places the block by script instead.
**Try the default first:** the second mode is the fallback. It can be set globally and additionally chosen per block, so the exception stays an exception.

## Managing many blocks

The block list filters by area and shows 25 entries per page. Multi-select allows activating, deactivating or deleting several blocks together.
Deactivating takes the block out of the shop without losing it - useful for campaigns that return later.

## Troubleshooting

**The block does not appear:** check in order: is it active? Does the sales channel match? Is today within the time window? Does the device selection match your test device? And for detail page blocks: is the article being viewed actually assigned?
**It appears in the wrong place or not at all although everything fits:** your theme probably replaces the same Twig block. Switch the output mode of the block to the second mode.
**The CSS has no effect:** themes often set their own rules with higher specificity. Write the rule more narrowly, for example through a class of your own in the block content.

## Support

Questions and requests come straight to us - support is from the developer, not from a queue. You can also request a feature through the Plugin Suite in the admin.
