# Manual Sticky Add to Cart.

How to set up the sticky add to cart bar, adjust content, position and colours, exclude products, read the statistics and use the bar on category pages.

## What the plugin does

Sticky Add to Cart shows a compact bar with product image, name, price and add to cart button on the product page as soon as the actual buy button has been scrolled out of view. One click adds the product to the cart via the buy form of the product page, with quantity, variant and additional fields.

On home, category and search pages a second bar can show the number of items and the cart total, optionally with product images or as an expandable list.

**Shopware 6.6 and 6.7:** The plugin runs on both versions. No theme compile is needed.

## First steps

1. Install and activate the plugin via the Plugin Suite.
2. In the admin, open Extensions, Stone & Water - Plugin Suite, Sticky Add to Cart.
3. Enter the licence key or use the 7 day trial.
4. Set the appearance under Position and layout and Colours, the preview on the right shows every change immediately.
5. Save. The shop cache is cleared, the bar is live right away.
6. Open a product page in the shop and scroll down.

## Activate the licence

Without a valid licence the plugin shows the licence view in the admin and no bar in the shop. You will find the key in your Stone & Water customer account. It is bound to the shop domain shown in the licence view.

## Sales channel and language

At the top of the settings you choose sales channel and language. Without a selection the settings apply everywhere. If you choose a channel or a language, every field shows **Inherited** or **Own value**. A click switches between both.

**Order of delivery:**

1. Value for sales channel and language
2. Value for the sales channel
3. Value for all channels and the language
4. Value for all channels
5. Plugin default

This way you set an own button text only for English, for example, without maintaining the other settings twice. Reset all removes the own values of the selected scope.

## When the bar appears

Under General, Show, you decide when the bar appears:

- **After the add to cart button** - as soon as the buy button of the product page has been scrolled out of view. This is the default.
- **After scroll distance** - from a distance in pixels.
- **After share of the page** - from a scroll share.
- **After waiting time** - after a few seconds on the page.
- **Always** - immediately on load.

With Show from and Show until you limit the bar to a time period. The period is checked in the customer's browser and therefore also applies to cached pages. At the end of the page the bar hides as soon as a good part of the footer is in view. When scrolling down it can disappear, everywhere or only on smartphones.

## Variants and quantity

The bar always adds exactly the variant that is selected on the product page. If no buyable variant is selected yet, the button says Choose options and scrolls to the variant selection. Under General, If not buyable, the bar can also be hidden in this case.

Optionally a change link follows the variant. If a product has exactly one variant option, for example only size, the bar can show a select field instead. Switching loads the new variant and jumps back to the same position on the page.

With the quantity selection, quantity field and button are stacked. Minimum quantity, purchase steps and maximum quantity of the product are respected.

## Category and search page

Under Category and search page you switch on a second bar for home, category, search and landing pages. It appears as soon as the cart contains something, or always if you like.

- **Number and total** - simple, with a button to cart or checkout.
- **With product images** - the images of the positions side by side, further ones as +X. Hovering shows name, quantity and price.
- **Expandable list** - all positions with image, name, plus, minus and remove, below that cart and checkout.

For number and total and for product images a click optionally opens the offcanvas cart of the shop.

## Preview

Next to the settings the preview shows the bar with a sample product, switchable between desktop and smartphone. Every change is visible immediately, even before you save.

## Statistics

The Statistics tab shows for 7, 30, 90 or 365 days and per sales channel:

- **Impressions** - per page view the first impression of the bar
- **Added via the bar**
- **Bar conversion** - add to cart actions via the bar per impression
- **Added via the regular button** - add to cart actions via the buy button of the product page
- **Share of the bar** in all add to cart actions of the product page

Only daily totals per sales channel are counted, without personal data. Bots are filtered out.

## Floating elements

Chat buttons, the scroll to top button and similar floating elements at the bottom are moved above the bar automatically while it is visible. This only affects elements that would actually cover the bar. It can be switched off under General.

## Theme and cache

The styles of the bar are inline in the page, the script is loaded from the plugin. After an update the usual Shopware cache is enough, no theme compile is needed. Wishlist heart and PayPal Express button only appear if the shop offers these features.

## Uninstalling

Without keeping data, the settings and the statistics table are deleted. The shop is then back in its original state.

## All settings

All settings in the order of the admin. Each can be overridden per sales channel and language, fields that are not adjusted inherit the parent value. As of version 1.0.19.

### Sales channel and language

Choose the sales channel and language you want to adjust. Without a selection the settings apply everywhere. Every field can be inherited or overridden on its own.

**Sales channel**Default: All sales channels

Adjust the settings for a single sales channel. Fields that are not adjusted inherit the value of All sales channels.

**Language**Default: All languages

Adjust the settings for one language, for example an own button text. Fields that are not adjusted inherit the value without language.

### General

Activation, devices and when the bar appears.

**Show bar**Default: on

Switches the bar on the product page on or off.

**Devices**Default: Desktop, Tablet, Smartphone

On which devices the bar appears. Smartphone up to 575 pixels, tablet up to 991 pixels, desktop above.

**Show**Default: After the add to cart button

When the bar appears: as soon as the add to cart button of the product page has been scrolled out of view, after a scroll distance in pixels or percent, after a waiting time or always.

**Scroll distance in pixels**Default: 400

The bar appears after this scroll distance when Show is set to After scroll distance.

**Scroll share in percent**Default: 30

The bar appears once this share of the page has been scrolled when Show is set to After share of the page.

**Waiting time in seconds**Default: 5

The bar appears after this time on the page when Show is set to After waiting time.

**Show from**Default: empty

Optional: the bar only appears from this point in time. Leave empty for immediately.

**Show until**Default: empty

Optional: the bar only appears until this point in time. Leave empty for unlimited.

**Hide at the end of the page**Default: on

Hides the bar as soon as the footer becomes visible so it does not cover any links.

**When scrolling down**Default: Always keep visible

Hide the bar while reading further down and show it again when scrolling up, on all devices or only on smartphones.

**Lift floating elements**Default: on

Moves other floating elements at the bottom, for example a chat button or the scroll to top button, above the bar while it is visible.

**If not buyable**Default: Button leads to the variant selection

What happens when the product cannot be added to the cart right now, for example because no variant has been chosen yet.

**Close button**Default: off

Shows a small X. Whoever closes the bar will not see it again until the end of the session.

### Exclusions

Products, categories and dynamic product groups where the bar does not appear, for example vouchers or products that need explanation.

**Exclude products**Default: none

The bar does not appear for these products. A main product excludes all of its variants as well.

**Exclude categories**Default: none

The bar does not appear for products in these categories or their subcategories.

**Exclude dynamic product groups**Default: none

The bar does not appear for products in these dynamic product groups.

### Content

Choose which details the bar shows.

**Product image**Default: on

Shows the main image of the product.

**Manufacturer**Default: off

Shows the manufacturer above the name.

**Product name**Default: on

Shows the name of the product.

**Variant**Default: on

Shows the selected variant options, for example colour and size.

**Change link for variant**Default: on

Shows a link after the variant that scrolls to the variant selection of the product page.

**Variant selection in the bar**Default: off

Shows a select field if the product has exactly one variant option, for example only size. Switching loads the variant and jumps back to the same position on the page. With several options the change link appears.

**Product number**Default: off

Shows the product number.

**Rating**Default: off

Shows the average rating as stars if reviews exist.

**Price**Default: on

Shows the current price.

**List price**Default: on

Shows the crossed out list price if one is maintained.

**Discount badge**Default: on

Shows the saving in percent if a list price is maintained.

**Reference price**Default: off

Shows the reference price, for example per litre or kilogram, if maintained.

**Asterisk at the price**Default: on

Adds the asterisk to the price that refers to the tax and shipping notes in the footer.

**Delivery time**Default: off

Shows availability and delivery time like on the product page.

**Low stock**Default: off

Shows Only X left in stock as soon as the available stock reaches the limit.

**Limit for low stock**Default: 5

The note appears at this stock or below.

**Free shipping**Default: off

Shows the note Free shipping for products that are maintained as free of shipping costs.

**Own hint line**Default: empty

Short own text, for example Delivery in 1-2 days or 30 days return. Can be set per language, leave empty to hide.

**Quantity selection**Default: off

Shows a quantity field in front of the button. Minimum quantity, purchase steps and maximum quantity of the product are respected.

**Wishlist heart**Default: off

Shows a heart next to the button that adds the product to the wishlist. Only appears if the wishlist is active in the shop.

### Add to cart button

Text, icon, shape and colours of the button.

**Button text**Default: default text of the shop

Own text for the button. Leave empty to use the default text of the shop. Can be set per language.

**After adding**Default: Open the offcanvas cart

Open the offcanvas cart as usual or only confirm briefly in the bar, with a link to the checkout. This way the customer can keep reading.

**Cart icon**Default: off

Shows a cart icon in front of the button text.

**Express checkout**Default: off

Takes over the PayPal Express button of the product page into the bar. Only appears if PayPal Express is set up in the shop and shown on the product page.

**Button shape**Default: Pill

Pill, slightly rounded or square.

**Button colour**Default: #222222

Background colour of the button.

**Button text colour**Default: #ffffff

Text colour of the button.

### Position and layout

Where the bar sits, how large it is and how it appears.

**Position**Default: Bottom right

Where the bar appears on tablet and desktop.

**Layout on smartphones**Default: Full width bar

As a compact full width bar at the bottom or as a card with a full width button.

**Distance to the edge in pixels**Default: 16

Distance of the card to the window edge. Does not apply to full width bars.

**Maximum width in pixels**Default: 520

Maximum width of the card. For full width bars the width of the content.

**Image size in pixels**Default: 48

Edge length of the product image.

**Corner radius in pixels**Default: 6

Rounding of the card. 0 gives square corners.

**Shadow**Default: Soft

Strength of the shadow below the card.

**Animation**Default: Slide in

How the bar appears and disappears.

### Category and search page

Shows a slim bar with number of items and cart total on home, category and search pages, optionally also with an empty cart.

**Bar on category and search page**Default: off

Shows a slim bar with number of items and cart total as soon as the cart contains something. Position, colours and devices as for the bar of the product page.

**Also with an empty cart**Default: off

Always shows the bar, even if the cart is still empty. It then shows the note that the cart is empty.

**Content of the bar**Default: With product images

Only number and total, additionally the product images of the positions, or an expandable list with all positions where customers can change quantities and remove products.

**Number of product images**Default: 5

The bar shows this many product images, further positions appear as +X. At most three on smartphones.

**Click opens cart**Default: on

A click on the images or the total opens the offcanvas cart of the shop, where quantities can be changed.

**Button leads to**Default: Cart

To the cart or directly to the checkout.

### Colours

Colours for background, border, texts, prices and the discount badge.

**Background**Default: #ffffff

Background colour of the bar.

**Border**Default: #e5e7eb

Colour of the thin border line.

**Text**Default: #222222

Colour of the name and further details.

**Price**Default: #222222

Colour of the price without list price.

**Price with list price**Default: #c62828

Colour of the price if a list price is maintained.

**List price**Default: #6b7280

Colour of the crossed out price.

**Discount badge**Default: #c62828

Background colour of the percent badge.

**Discount badge text**Default: #ffffff

Text colour of the percent badge.
