Common questions about the PIM plugin
Which Shopware versions are supported?
We currently maintain the plugin in parallel for Shopware 6.5, 6.6 and 6.7. For older versions, please get in touch.
Is my data sent to OpenAI or Anthropic?
Only when you actively trigger AI text generation. The plugin does no telemetry, and audit log plus snapshots stay solely in your Shopware database. AI calls go directly to the provider with your own API key.
Can I undo a bulk operation?
Yes. Before every bulk edit, a snapshot of the prior state is created automatically. In the audit log you can roll back any entry with one click — including translation changes per language.
Why is my CSV import slow?
The import runs via the Shopware Sync API in batches. Extremely large files with complex custom-field JSONs can take several minutes. You see the live progress with ETA — and can cancel at any time.
Are all custom fields translated?
Yes, custom fields can be maintained per language too — the plugin stores them in each product translation instead of the default custom-fields JSON. For DeepL and AI translation they're addressed just like standard fields.
What does "Limit to filter" mean?
When you filter the listing by a variant field, you typically only want to change matched variants — not the whole parent product. The toggle makes the bulk action exactly follow the filter.
Is the plugin GDPR compliant?
Yes. The plugin processes only product data (no personal data of end customers) and stores everything on your Shopware server. AI providers are only contacted on your active instruction — with your own API key, so the data-processing agreements with OpenAI / Anthropic exist directly with you.
Is there a demo version?
The plugin is available as a trial directly on the Shopware Store. For an extensive live demo, just reach out — we're happy to set up a session.
