ALBIS Leasing manual.

How to connect ALBIS Leasing to your Shopware shop - from credentials through the checkout application to status syncing.

Requirements

Shopware 6.7 and an existing dealer contract with ALBIS. Without a contract and credentials the plugin cannot retrieve leasing offers.

Some context: ALBIS Leasing connects your shop to an external leasing provider. Credit checks, contracts and payouts sit with ALBIS, not with the shop.

Installation

Upload the plugin through the plugin manager, install and activate it, then open the configuration and enter the credentials.

Storing credentials

ALBIS API endpoint
The address of the ALBIS interface.
Username and password
The credentials from your dealer contract.

Two contracts in parallel

Besides the main credentials, a second username and password can be stored. This is meant for dealers holding two ALBIS contracts, for example with different terms or for different legal entities.

Commission

Commission is given as a percentage, with allowed values between 0 and 5. The default is 5 percent. It feeds into the calculation of the leasing rates.

Threshold for managing director data

Above a configurable cart value the form additionally asks for the managing director's contact details, including date of birth. The default is 500 euros.

Why this exists: Higher leasing amounts require closer identification of the responsible person. The threshold controls when those extra fields appear - set too low it increases drop-off, set too high it leads to follow-up questions from ALBIS.

Display on the product page

Enabled by default. The product detail page shows a block headed „Leasing made simple" with a button that opens the leasing options. The setting can be switched off if leasing should only appear during checkout.

Order confirmation copy

Optionally an e-mail address can receive every order confirmation in BCC whenever ALBIS Leasing was chosen as the payment method. Useful when leasing cases are handled separately in-house.

Status coupling

With coupling enabled, the Shopware order status is updated automatically from the ALBIS leasing status. It is off by default, leaving the order status under your control.

Leasing notice

When leasing is available for an order, the cart points out that ALBIS Leasing can be chosen as a payment method.

The leasing application

The application is filled in as a form attached to the order. It asks for the lessee's company details including company name, legal form, street and house number, plus the managing director's details above the configured threshold.

Special leasing payment

Alongside the leasing model, customers can enter a special payment. The permitted range is displayed, and „recalculate leasing rate" updates the rates.

A common stumbling block: If the special payment entered exceeds the permitted amount, the form rejects it. The message appears directly at the field.

Term and leasing rate

Available terms are shown in months with the matching rate, optionally including a down payment. All amounts are net, excluding VAT. Without selecting a rate the application cannot be submitted.

Submitting the application

„Submit leasing application" sends the application to ALBIS. Shopware fires the event albis_leasing_application_placed, which you can use for your own flows and notifications.

Checking status from the console

For day-to-day operations the plugin ships a console command that queries the status of leasing applications at ALBIS. Worth running regularly via cron, especially with status coupling enabled.

bin/console albis:check-status

Troubleshooting

No leasing rates are shown

There is no offer for this order. Common causes are a cart value that is too low, items not eligible for leasing, or a temporarily unreachable interface.

The IBAN is rejected

ALBIS validates the IBAN and returns error 32000 when it is invalid. The customer sees a message at the field.

Missing managing director details

Above the threshold, day, month and year of birth are mandatory; if one is missing the form will not submit.

The payment method does not appear on the product page

Check the detail page display setting and whether the payment method is active in the sales channel.

Support

We are happy to answer questions about the setup inside your shop. Questions about terms, credit decisions and contracts go directly to ALBIS. Get in touch via the contact page or write to info@stoneandwater.online.

Obtaining the plugin

ALBIS Leasing connects to a third-party provider and is available for direct download. Using it requires a dealer contract with ALBIS - terms and credentials come from there.
