Manual cross-selling in checkout.
Everything about setup: positions, number of tiles, heading, how the selection is built and what to check on acceptance.
System requirements
Shopware 6.6 or 6.7 with storefront, PHP 8.2 or newer. One package covers both versions.
Installation
Upload the ZIP under Extensions in the administration, install and activate. It is more convenient via the Plugin Suite: there you install and update the plugin with one click.
Licence
The settings contain a "Licence" card with status, key, an optional licence server and a button to check immediately. Without a valid licence the module shows the activation screen and the recommendation strip is not rendered in the shop.
Positions
Three places during checkout, each switchable separately:
- Cart page - the cart's own page.
- Offcanvas cart - the panel that opens after adding to cart.
- Order confirmation - the page before the order is placed.
Number of tiles
Adjustable per position from one to twelve. Defaults are six on the cart page, three in the offcanvas cart and six on the confirmation page.
Heading
The heading can be maintained per shop language. If the field stays empty, the theme's snippet is used.
How the selection is built
The plugin collects the cross-selling assignments across all products in the cart, weights them and then removes everything already in the cart. What remains is a list that fits the whole cart and repeats nothing.
Variants without their own assignment fall back to the parent product's.
Presentation
Images keep their natural aspect ratio. The height is limited per position: 200 pixels on the cart page, 180 pixels with one product per tile, 140 pixels in the offcanvas cart.
The scroll arrows appear only when not all tiles fit side by side. The check also runs after a window resize and for the lazily loaded offcanvas cart.
Acceptance checklist
- Put a product with maintained cross-selling into the cart.
- Open the cart page - the strip appears with the expected products.
- Add a recommended product - it disappears from the strip.
- Check the offcanvas cart, then the confirmation page.
- Narrow the window - the arrows appear only when needed.
Things to note
If no strip appears, check in order: is the position switched on? Does the product have any cross-selling maintained? Are the recommended items already in the cart? Is the licence valid?
