You buy the licence directly from us and receive an invoice from us. Installation by upload in the admin without SSH, updates through our licence platform, support straight from the developer.
From installation to rewinding: set up the AI provider, define style and context, approve suggestions, have the whole media library described and rename files cleanly.
Shopware 6.6 or 6.7 with storefront and the PHP extension cURL. To describe images you need an API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini or Mistral. No theme build is needed, installation runs by upload in the admin without SSH.
Upload the ZIP in the admin under Extensions, My extensions, Upload extension, then install and activate it. The plugin then appears as its own menu item in the administration.
When opened for the first time, the plugin asks for the licence token. Without a valid licence the interface stays locked.
You can choose OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini and Mistral. Every image costs one call in which all languages are created at once. Only models with image input are offered, the recommended one is the cheapest with good quality. Without your own choice the plugin uses a default model per provider.
The connection test sends a test image and reports whether the connection works and whether the model recognised the image. The image size for the AI determines the edge length an image is scaled down to before sending: larger recognises more detail but costs more.
The master prompt is the base instruction for every image in every language and channel, for example on form of address, terms or what should never be mentioned. An addition per language extends it for one language only, for example for spellings or technical terms.
Tone, minimum and maximum length of the alt text and the maximum length of the image title set the frame. Alt texts that are too long are cut at a word boundary, around 125 characters are recommended. The AI may use shop terms where they fit. It never uses forbidden terms, and they are also removed from the texts.
Besides the image, the AI optionally receives the product name in the respective language, the manufacturer, the deepest category, variant options and key properties as well as a readable file name. Cryptic names such as IMG_4711 are ignored. All sources are switched on by default.
The image list shows every image with its status: Missing, AI text, Manual, Decorative, Suggestion open, Error or Not supported. Filter by language, area and status, plus a search by file name, alt text or title. Show 25 to 200 images per page.
In approval mode every suggestion lands in the image's row. Accept writes it to the media library, Adjust opens it for editing, Discard deletes it. This works per image, for a selection or for the whole filter. Texts accepted unchanged count as AI text, adjusted ones as your own text and stay protected.
Generate missing describes all images of an area that have no alt text yet. For a selection or a filter you can explicitly choose to describe again. Beforehand the plugin shows how many images are affected.
Large runs run as a background job with saved progress. You can close the window, and with an active Shopware worker also the admin. If the provider reports a rate limit, the run waits a minute and then continues. Once the daily limit is reached, it continues the next day.
With Describe new images automatically switched on, newly uploaded images are queued and described in the background after the waiting time, also after imports. If an image is in the product folder but not yet assigned to a product, the plugin waits for the assignment so that the product context is right. On temporary errors it retries up to three times.
The automation runs through Shopware's scheduled tasks. The overview shows its state and warns if the scheduled tasks have not run for more than 15 minutes. Process queue now starts the due images immediately.
Renaming files is off by default. Switched on, the AI suggests a file name for every image, lower case, with hyphens and without umlauts. The old image URL and the old thumbnails are redirected to the new ones with 301. If the media are stored externally, for example on S3 or a CDN, old URLs do not reach Shopware and the redirect does not apply.
Rename by pattern assigns names from placeholders in square brackets, without AI and without cost: product, manufacturer, variant, product number, category, alt text, previous name and a running number. Search and replace changes a term in alt texts, titles, open suggestions, channel texts and optionally in file names, with a preview.
For the sales channels selected under Channels with own texts, the AI also creates own alt texts and titles in their languages, with an own instruction per channel, for example for form of address, target group or brand name. In that channel's shop they replace the normal text. If a channel has no own text for an image, the normal text of the language applies.
Purely decorative images without content are marked as decorative. They are not described, get an empty alt in the shop and are skipped by screen readers.
If an image still lacks an alt text, the plugin sets a fallback in the shop so that an empty alt is never delivered. You decide where it comes from: product name with variant, otherwise file name, or only a readable file name. The storefront settings can be adjusted per sales channel.
Every change to alt texts, image titles, file names and the decorative flag is stored in the history, grouped per run. You can rewind a whole run, a single change or everything from a point in time, file names included. Values that were changed again after the run stay as they are by default, so no later work is lost. You set how long the history is kept, 180 days by default.
The licence token is entered when the plugin is opened for the first time. The licence is bound to the shop's domain. Without a valid licence the plugin's functions are locked, texts already written to the media library remain.
Questions and requests are welcome directly with us - support comes from the developer, not from a queue. You can also request a feature through the Plugin Suite in the admin.
Every setting of the plugin with its default value and explanation, in the same order as in the administration. The texts come straight from the plugin (version 1.6.4).
Whether texts come as suggestions for approval first or are written directly, which fields and languages the AI fills and which areas of the media library belong to it.
With approval every suggestion appears in the image list and is only written with Apply. Direct writes to the media library immediately.
Which texts the AI generates.
Leave empty for all languages assigned to a sales channel. All languages are created with a single AI call per image.
Which areas of the media library matter for bulk runs and in the overview.
Provider, access key and model with a connection test. The test also checks whether the model understands images. Plus time limit and the image size sent to the AI.
One call per image for all languages. The affordable fast models describe product images very well.
Only used for describing images and never output in the storefront.
Only models with image input can be selected. The recommended model is the most affordable one with good quality. A custom model ID can also be entered.
Optional, only for Anthropic workspaces.
The longest time the plugin waits for the answer to one image. Allowed range: 10 to 120.
The image is resized to this edge length before sending. Larger recognises more details but makes the call more expensive.
Tone, length of alt text and title, brand first, desired and forbidden terms and your own instructions to the AI.
Basic instruction to the AI for every image, in every language and channel: form of address, terms, what should always be named or never mentioned.
Complements the master prompt for one language only, for example spellings or technical terms. Leave empty if nothing special applies.
Basic tone of the texts.
Lower limit as a guideline for the AI. Allowed range: 10 to 200.
Longer texts are cut at a word boundary. About 125 characters are recommended. Allowed range: 40 to 300.
The title appears as a tooltip in the browser. Allowed range: 20 to 200.
If a brand is known, it is placed at the beginning of the text.
Terms the AI may use if they fit the image. No keyword stuffing, only where it sounds natural.
The AI does not use these words and they are additionally removed from the texts. Separate with commas or lines.
Own alt texts and titles for single sales channels, for example for a second brand. They replace the normal texts in the shop of this channel.
For these channels the AI additionally creates own texts in their languages, with one more AI call per image.
Complements the master prompt for this channel, for example form of address, target group or brand name.
Which shop data the AI receives in addition to the image, so that product, brand and variant are named correctly.
Name of the product the image belongs to, in the respective language.
Manufacturer name, so that the brand is spelled correctly.
The deepest category of the product as an additional hint.
Variant options such as colour or size and the most important properties.
A readable file name helps with images without a product. Cryptic names like IMG_4711 are ignored.
Describe and rename newly uploaded images automatically: result, waiting time after upload, waiting for the product assignment and images per run.
Newly uploaded images are queued and described in the background, also after imports. Runs via the scheduled tasks of Shopware every 5 minutes. Existing texts stay untouched, on temporary errors up to three further attempts follow.
Independent of the approval for bulk runs. Direct writes alt text, title and file name immediately, as suggestion everything goes to the image list first.
New images are described at the earliest after this time, so that they are already assigned to a product and the AI knows the product context. Allowed range: 0 to 1440.
If a new image is in the product folder but not yet assigned to a product, the automation waits up to one hour for it.
The maximum number of queued images one run processes. Allowed range: 1 to 200.
Whether the AI also assigns descriptive file names, for example sofa-lima-anthracite.jpg instead of IMG_4711.jpg. The plugin redirects old image URLs to the new ones with 301.
Off: file names stay unchanged. New uploads automatically: new images get a descriptive name during automatic description, existing images only on request, in the bulk run via Scope, on a single image or by pattern. New uploads and bulk runs: as before, and file names are preselected in the bulk run.
An image file has exactly one name. Default is the main language of the shop, for international shops a fixed language such as English can make sense.
Daily limit for analysed images, reuse of texts for identical images, history and image index.
Maximum number of images sent to the AI per day. 0 means unlimited. Allowed range: 0 to 1000000.
If the same image has already been described, the texts are reused without asking the AI again.
Changes stay in the history this long and can be rewound. 0 means unlimited. Allowed range: 0 to 3650.
Output in the shop per sales channel: decorative images with an empty alt and a sensible replacement when an alt text is missing.
Switches the output in the shop on or off for this sales channel. The texts in the media library are not affected.
If an alt text is missing, the plugin sets a sensible replacement in the shop, so that an empty alt is never delivered.
What the replacement text is made of.
