A base price and a surcharge per kilogram produce finished price tiers - with a preview before saving. On request the plugin writes them straight into the chosen shipping method, where Shopware keeps them as calculation by weight.

Variants side by side
For every shipping method, currency and Shopware rule you can create a separate set. Rule sets can be duplicated to build variants quickly.
From included weight to an open top
Start weight, tier size and maximum weight define the steps. Up to the included weight only the base price applies, and the top tier can be left open ended.
Round and cap
Minimum and maximum price cap the result. Rounding happens to 0.05, 0.10, 0.50 or 1.00 - up, down or commercially.

Entering a tier table with thirty steps by hand costs an hour and invites mistakes. If the base price changes, you start over.

Lower bound, middle or upper bound
You decide which weight within a tier is used. The upper bound is the cautious choice, the lower bound the customer-friendly one, the average the compromise.
Enter the way you think
The amounts you enter can be read as gross or net prices. The tax rate then handles the conversion, and the preview shows both values side by side.
Right at the shipping method
The shipping method picker shows its tax calculation: automatic, highest tax rate or fixed tax rate with a percentage. You know beforehand what the customer will be charged.
So nothing drifts apart
If the shipping method uses a fixed tax rate, the field adopts that value automatically and is locked. Gross and net cannot drift against each other.
Replace or keep
Before writing, the existing prices of the shipping method for the selected rule can be removed. Without that option they stay in place.
Deleting has no side effect
When a rule set is deleted, prices already written to the shipping method remain. The plugin never takes away what you have already published.

The plugin only changes the prices of the chosen shipping method, never the method itself. Installed by upload in the admin, without SSH.
Compatibility
No migrations
No code runs during installation and there are no migrations. The table it needs is created when the module is first opened - so an interrupted update cannot leave half a state behind.
Writes standard prices
The tiers are created as regular prices of the shipping method, using calculation by weight. Afterwards they are visible and editable in the Shopware admin as usual.
Tax logic stays with Shopware
Which tax rate the customer is actually charged is decided by the shipping method. With automatic handling the shipping tax is distributed across the tax rates in the cart, weighted by the net share of the line items.
No config file
All settings live in the admin module under the Plugin Suite. There is deliberately no config.xml, so nothing has to be maintained in two places.

How do I calculate weight-based shipping costs in Shopware 6?
Shopware supports weight-based shipping through price tiers on the shipping method, which have to be entered one by one. The shipping calculator generates those tiers from a base price and a surcharge per kilogram instead and writes them straight into the chosen shipping method.
What does the shipping calculator cost?
Buying directly costs 11.99 euros net per month, 59.99 euros net per half year or 109.99 euros net per year. Paying yearly saves around 24 percent compared with monthly rental. All prices are net and exclude VAT.
Can I try the shipping calculator first?
Yes, there is a free seven day trial. You start it directly in the Plugin Suite inside the Shopware admin, without payment details. It ends automatically when the period is over and creates no obligation.
Which tax rate applies with mixed carts?
That is decided by the shipping method through its tax calculation setting, not by the plugin. With automatic handling the shipping tax is distributed across the tax rates in the cart, weighted by the net share of the line items. Alternatively the highest rate or a fixed value applies.
What happens to my prices if I uninstall the plugin?
The generated tiers remain. The plugin writes regular prices into the shipping method, and afterwards they belong to Shopware like any other price. Deleting a rule set removes nothing from the running shop either.
Can I calculate several shipping methods differently?
Yes. You create as many rule sets as you need, each with its own shipping method, currency and optional Shopware rule. Rule sets can be duplicated, so standard and express with a similar structure are set up quickly.
