What the video shows.

  1. A rule gets a name, shipping method, Shopware rule and currency.
  2. Set the base price, surcharge per kilogram, included weight, tier size and maximum weight.
  3. Calculation basis, rounding and minimum and maximum price decide the price per tier.
  4. The live preview shows every tier with net and gross.
  5. "Save and write" puts the tiers into the shipping method.
  6. In the cart, shipping costs rise with the weight of the products.

Questions about the video.

How do I set up weight-based shipping in Shopware 6?

Enter a base price and a per-kg surcharge. The plugin creates the tiers and writes them into the shipping method.

Will I lose existing prices?

Only if you enable removing existing prices first, and then only for the selected rule. Deleting a rule keeps prices already written.

Can I use different tiers per country or customer group?

Yes. Link the tiers to a Shopware rule and currency.
