Walkthrough

What the video shows.

  1. All plugins and apps appear in one list with version and status.
  2. The "Updates available" filter shows at once where a new version is ready.
  3. Selected plugins update in one go, the cache is cleared afterwards.
  4. Each plugin gets a backup before the update plus manual backups, restoring asks for confirmation.
  5. Auto-Update per plugin runs daily at the time you choose.
  6. Backup retention, the last run and the email summary sit in the settings.

Questions about the video.

Are updates installed without me?

Only for plugins where you switch on Auto-Update. Everything else you start yourself.

Can I undo an update?

Yes, if "Backup before update" was enabled for the plugin. The current state is saved before restoring.

What does the automation need?

A running worker for scheduled tasks, and a working Shopware mailer for the email.
